Dr. Tunde Lemo (OFR) Chairman

 

Dr. Tunde Lemo (OFR) is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria as well as the fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, with significant leadership and top management experience in both the public and private sectors spanning over 38 years. He served for a decade as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and prior to that he was the MD/CEO of Wema Bank Plc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy (first class division) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at Wharton College, University of Pennsylvania, USA, as well as executive training programmes in world class institutions including Harvard University, INSEAD Fontainbleau, France. Brandeis University, Boston, etc. Dr Tunde Lemo is passionate about enhancing the welfare of individuals and making a positive impact on people, especially the younger generation, which he does through the Tunde Lemo Foundation. He was also awarded with the prestigious National honour of the Officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR) in November 2011. He is currently the Chairman of Titan Trust Bank and the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (Ferma), and sits on many other boards. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the school since 2015.

mrs_yemi_lemo

Yemi Lemo (Mrs) Executive Director

 

Mrs Yemi Lemo is the Executive Director/ Vice-Chairman of Lead-Forte Gate School Board of Governors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the prestigious University of Nigeria in 1994, as well as a Bachelor’s degree (BTh) in Theology from LIFE Theological Seminary, Lagos. As a seasoned educationist and administrator, she started her teaching career with the Lagos State Ministry of Education in 1985, and has continued to work with children and young adults till this day. Mrs Yemi Lemo’s dynamism and creativity with passion for children inspired her vision for the establishment of a nursery and primary school – Lead-Forte Gate Nursery and Primary School in Ogudu, Lagos state. The school started with a crèche and later expanded to cater for Nursery and Primary school pupils. In response to the demand by parents of students who graduated from the Primary school to have a Secondary school with the same kind of excellent training provided to their children at the primary level, a vision for a secondary school was born. Lead-Forte Gate College, a Co-educational Secondary and Sixth Form College was established. In recognition of her contribution to education, Mrs Yemi Lemo has had several awards to her credit in recognition of her contribution to Education in Lagos State and in Nigeria as a whole. A mentor par excellence, she has helped various mentees within and outside the educational system to discover and work towards achieving their purposes in life. She was awarded a Fellow of College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and is the founder of Fathers’ Compassion Ministry, a non-profit outreach that reaches out to the poor, needy, widows and widowers in our society.

kikelomo

Kikelomo Akingbade (Assistant Executive Director)

 

Kikelomo Akingbade is an astute business professional with over 12 years’ experience spanning Corporate Law, Public Policy, Corporate Governance and Agricultural & Financial Technology.

 

She holds a law degree from BPP University, as well as a degree in Economics and Social studies from the University of Manchester. She also holds a Master’s degree (LLM) in International Corporate Governance and FInancial Regulation from the University of Warwick. Whilst in the United Kingdom, she worked for Guaranty Trust Bank (London, UK), and Pricewaaterhouse Coopers. She also worked at George Etomi & Partners (Nigeria), and until recently served as a Bank Examiner at the Central Bank of Nigeria. She is also a certified Life Skills Practitioner.

 

Kikelomo has served as a member of the board of governors since 2020, and is currently the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

omolara

Omolara Abosede Omontuemhen (Governor)

 

Omolara Abosede Omontuemhen is the Managing Director of City Grocery Limited; a business she set up in 2007. Her business interests are in agric processing and packaging, and property development. Prior to setting up City Grocery Limited, she worked as an IT implementation consultant, school teacher/consultant and marketing executive. She obtained her Higher National Diploma from the Ogun state polytechnic, Post graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Calabar and is currently pursuing her MBA at the Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. She currently sits on the Board of NJA Farms and Agro Services Limited, Gowon & Queen Properties and Leadforte gate schools. She joined the board of Governors in 2019 as a parent governor.

Olubunmi Dosunmu (Principal)

 

Olubunmi Dosunmu is a Passionate and experienced educator and administrator. He holds an M.A. in Education, a PGCE (International) from the University of Nottingham, and a School Management and Leadership Certificate from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is currently the Principal and head of the Senior Leadership Team at Lead-Forte Gate College. He joined Lead-Forte Gate College in 2018, and became a member of the board of Governors in 2020, subsequent to his appointment as Principal.

abimbola

Abimbola Adeoye (Head-Teacher)

 

Abimbola Adeoye is the Head-Teacher and head of the Senior Leadership Team of Lead-Forte Gate Primary School. She bagged double honours B.Sc. (Ed.) in Mathematics and Educational Management at the University of Ilorin, as well as a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A .) University of Ilorin. She is passionate about children and is committed to running with the School’s vision and mission in delivering the highest standard of education, supporting the teachers and staff and ensuring an overall safe and successful school environment. She joined the school in 2011 and has been Head-Teacher since then.
